As students study from home, technology has become the thread that ties them to DePaul University. Just as we seek to remove financial barriers for our students, we must remove ones related to technology.
No student should be limited from engaging with their classmates or professors due to inadequate technology. But now that they are learning from home, many of our students cannot access the technology, broadband internet and software licenses needed for the higher demands of remote education.
Please consider a gift in support of technology and access, which will help DePaul identify and address disparities that prevent students from participating fully – at a time when a connection is more important than ever.
With your help, we will provide laptop computers, software and reliable internet access to our most at-risk students, starting with Pell-eligible, first-generation, low-income and students of color.
