86% of Chicago Public School students come from a low-income household. These children are often completely detached from the idea of attending a university solely due to their financial circumstances. I believe every student should be granted the mere option to attend a higher education institution, financial standing aside. The Sid Feldman fund guarantees that 100% of donations go towards the recipient's scholarship. My volunteer efforts are the least I could do to ensure that some percentage of CPS students have the opportunity to earn a degree, rather than neglect their desire for further education, entirely, based on their budget.
