Our Crowdfunding Groups
We are DePaul Women in Business and for over 15 years, our organization has helped make strides in the professional development for women as they begin their professional business career. The purpose of our organization is to provide a community for female students with resources, guidance, and opportunities to foster their growth and development in the field of business. At DePaul Women in Business, we believe that diversity strengthens us. As we set forth to accomplish our mission of providing female students with the resources to grow both professionally and personally in the world of business, we commit to creating a diverse, inclusive, and equitable environment within our organization.
To help ALL undergraduate DePaul Driehaus College of Business students, DePaul Women in Business is fundraising for the second annual “DeWiB Case Competition,” to bring together students and connect them with the experience necessary to establish their soft skills essential for a future in corporate America. Students will have the opportunity to learn about presentation skills, refine their public speaking skills, develop their problem-solving skills, and build a network for future internship success.
For three weeks, students will work on their case in a team of 3-4 students with the help of a Coach from the DeWiB Executive Board. At the end of the three weeks, groups will present their solutions to a panel of five business industry professionals or DePaul professors. Following the presentations, students will hear from a guest speaker and will have the chance to connect with professionals as well as DePaul staff and faculty.
Proceeds of the campaign go towards the awards given to winning teams during the 2023 DeWiB Case Competition held on January 28, 2023 where students are able to present their solutions, receive feedback from judges, as well as mingle with professionals in order to encourage the professional development of students.

This amount will go towards the lunches provided to students and judges and will also help cover the cost of refreshments.
A gift at this level will go towards a monetary award for a third place team member winner.
