DePaul DECA International Career Development Conference

In previous years, DePaul DECA has attended DECA Inc.'s International Career Development Conference (ICDC), an educational multi-day event in which undergraduate students from across the world gather to develop professionalism and career skill sets. We also host an event in Chicago in January leading up to ICDC, known as the Midwest Career Development Conference (MWCDC), which allows members to practice their competitive creativity and presentation skills before the biggest competition of the year. We are thrilled to bring these opportunities to our members once again and extend DePaul students' learning outside of the classroom.

These conferences are the final two that DePaul DECA attends during the academic year, serving as a change for members to showcase their developed skills in competitive roleplay case scenario events. During the conference itself, attendees participate in career building activities, a chapter forum to encourage high-performance chapter wide, networking with other students and business professionals, and pitch their ideas by executing competitive roleplay presentations, often advancing to the semi-finals and becoming finalists in their events.

The 2025 International conference will be in San Francisco, CA this April and will encourage the personal and professional growth of hundreds of attendees, but particularly DePaul DECA members aiming to enrich their collegiate experience with real-world applications and networking with other motivated individuals. We could not attend this event or host our MWCDC without the generosity of our donors, sponsors, and community here and beyond DePaul University.
