Our Crowdfunding Groups
Support Tomorrow's Rising Stars (ST*RS) is a diverse collective of graduating BFA and MFA students from The Theatre School at DePaul University, who seek to establish a foundation for their emerging artistic careers. Each spring, the graduating class is given the opportunity to showcase their talents to theatre professionals (i.e. talent agents, casting directors, artistic directors, etc.) in New York, Los Angeles, and right at home in Chicago.
Students at The Theatre School are responsible for their own travel and accommodations, and ST*RS seeks to ensure this exceptional networking opportunity does not exclude any one member of the graduating class. Funds raised by ST*RS are used to offset the costs of headshots, portfolios, plane tickets, hotel rooms, and anything else that might be needed to jump-start a career in the theatre. By donating to ST*RS, you will, in turn, become a participant in a group of individuals who are setting out to cultivate new artistic and theatrical communities across the globe.

Pays for self-tape equipment such as lighting, tripod, and microphones.
Allows actors to get notifications of audition postings.
Travel expenses for showcase and/or interviews out of state.
Pays for headshot session, headshot/resume prints, or necessary software for lighting and sound designers such as QLab 4.
