I am putting on my superhero cape, along with my red lipstick, and running for a cause!

On May 4th, I'll be running in the 5th Annual 5K/8K Superhero Run to support The Cities Project. Donate here to contribute to my fundraiser https://inspire.depaul.edu/project/14768/updates/1 or register to run with me at thecitiesproject.org/impact

The Cities Project is a non-profit, research-based mentorship program dedicated to supporting Chicago Public School students and their families.  Each student is mentored from 4th grade through college.

Through research, they want to understand how stressful life experiences affect youth—physically, mentally, and academically. Since 2008, the program has provided students with community-oriented intervention programs to lessen the effects of these stressors. The program provides youth with a positive support system and the tools to manage everyday stressors. My goal is to fundraise $1000 by April 22.

If you donate $25 or more, you will be automatically entered in a random drawing to receive a community mental health grand rounds presented by me.  I am happy to present at your school, place of worship or any community event. Topics can include: parenting, youth development, mental health and more!
