Our Crowdfunding Groups
The Black Law Student Association (BLSA) at the DePaul University College of Law is an organization chartered under the National Black Law Student Association (NBLSA) that seeks to promote the needs and goals of black law students. We do this by providing educational workshops, career panels, and social events, as well as participating in numerous community service-driven campaigns each semester. Recently, we’ve even implemented office hours where our executive board members are available each day for students to come receive one-on-one homework assistance or just chat to get to know each other.
The NBLSA Convention is an annual convention that provides amazing opportunities for our members to network, fellowship, and learn with and from other black law students, lawyers, and judges from across the country. It offers tremendous exposure and serves as a gateway for those interested in regional and national leadership positions. Attending this convention will strengthen our chapter here at DePaul now and for the future.
This year’s conference will be held in Cincinnati, OH. We need your support to help us get there.
Your financial contribution is an investment in not only our organization, but in our community. Please help us gain knowledge and ideas to share with our home chapter and community at DePaul!
This amount will provide a meal for a student while attending the conference.
This amount will cover one-way transportation for the group to the convention site each day (double it and you can make it round-trip!).
A gift of this amount will cover the cost of getting from the airport to the hotel for one student. (Double it and make it round-trip!)
This amount will cover the cost of meals for one attendee for the ENTIRE convention!
This amount will cover the cost of round-trip transportation for the group to the convention site for the ENTIRE convention.
A gift at this level will cover the entire registration cost for one attendee.
A gift of this amount will cover round-trip airfare for a conference attendee.
A gift at this level will cover an entire day's expenses for an attendee!
