Dear Friends of DePaul's Public Interest Law Association:

Thank you very much for your donation. Through this crowdfunding campaign, dozens of alumni, students, staff, faculty and friends of PILA came together to support public interest students. We are pleased to announce that we have raised an incredible $10,050 due to your generosity and support and an amazing match $5000 gift from an anonymous donor!

The crowdfunding campaign will be matched with the nearly $9,000 raised at the PILA Auction to provide 4 critical summer scholarships for students working in unpaid public interest internships.  These students will now have the financial freedom to grow their legal skills in an area they are passionate about, and serve a marginalized community, instead of worrying about how they will support themselves for the summer.

It is because of generous donors like you that these law students will be able to use the privilege of their degree to help those who otherwise would not be able to access the justice system. Through this opportunity, students will grow as advocates and be inspired to keep serving the community through their legal careers.

With gratitude,

Public Interest Law Association
