WoCC Bar Exam Scholarship

We are blown away by your generosity!  However, let’s keep going!  With additional funds we can provide more scholarships. Please help us reach our stretch goal of $2500 and lessen the burden for more members.

WoCC ("woke") aims to build a peer-support community for law students of color who identify as women. We strive to promote the professional and academic development of law students and to encourage the recruitment and retention of women of color within DePaul University College of Law.  Through speaker events, academic support, and volunteerism, WoCC embodies the notion of strength through sisterhood.

Every dollar raised in this campaign will go towards a third-year law student’s bar examination and preparation expenses. Unfortunately, many students are forced to take out small loans with high interest rates to afford the bar exam. This fundraiser aims to lessen that financial burden by providing a scholarship for a deserving WoCC member.

We are so grateful to alum Ezra Lintner (J.D. '20) who has generously offered to match the first $500 donated to this campaign! Please take advantage of this opportunity to double the impact of your gift by supporting this project today!
