Contribute to diversity, inclusion and equity initiatives, empowering future women leaders.

We are immensely grateful for the overwhelming support our campaign has received so far. After surpassing our initial goal of $1,000 and now successfully reaching our stretch goal of $3,000, we are more excited than ever for our "Friends in Finance" launch. Any funds received over $3,200 will be put toward the Wicklander Student Support Endowment Fund which will help finance the sustainability of our mission to empower young women. With your help, we can do even more to encourage women to study finance and maximize our impact by sponsoring students who participate in "Friends in Finance" to attend our summits, conferences, and competitions. Please give if you are able, and share this campaign with others who may wish to support our efforts! Thank you!

To help combat the lack of female representation in finance, DePaul Females in Finance is fundraising for the launch of our “Friends in Finance Program,” to bring exposure to the finance industry for students at DePaul. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the finance department, potential careers, connect with finance professors, other students and alumni of the DePaul Females in Finance Initiative.

The goal of this event is for students to feel a sense of community and inspire them to consider pursuing a finance degree. Many students come into college lost and overwhelmed which has been exacerbated by the impact of isolation due to COVID-19; however, we want students to know we are here for them as a resource as they return to campus. In addition, it provides our members a chance to take leadership and engage in the pay it forward cycle with new students at DePaul. Statistically, students are more likely to pursue a major if they feel socially accepted to do so and have a community as they navigate the process.

Proceeds of the campaign go towards the launch event in the fall and subsequent future soft kick off events, mentorship lunches and activities, and introductory financial modeling subscriptions to encourage women to have access to technical skills early on.
