Help women of color prepare to enter the profession.

WoCC ("woke") aims to build a peer-support community for law students of color who identify as women. We strive to promote the professional and academic development of law students and to encourage the recruitment and retention of women of color within DePaul University College of Law. Through speaker events, academic support, and volunteerism, WoCC embodies the notion of strength through sisterhood.

Every dollar raised in this campaign will go towards a third-year law student’s bar examination and preparation expenses. Unfortunately, many students are forced to take out small loans with high interest rates to afford the bar exam. This fundraiser aims to lessen that financial burden by providing funding for a deserving WoCC member.
