The Public Interest Law Association Summer Fellowship Fund provides scholarships for DePaul College of Law students who take unpaid legal positions at Chicago public interest organizations and legal aids.
With your support, DePaul law students can take unpaid positions this summer and gain real legal experience at local organizations without having to worry about sacrificing their passion for public interest for a paycheck.
Previous recipients of the Summer Fellowship Fund have worked within organizations such as the Office of the Cook County Public Guardian, the Office of the Cook County Public Defender, Metropolitan Family Services, Legal Aid Chicago, Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, Law Center for Better Housing, Center for Disability and Elder Law, and Cabrini Green Legal Aid.
