Dr. David Drehmer was a committed professor for DePaul's Department of Management and Entrepreneurship, contributing wherever he could toward students' success. Professor Drehmer strived to eliminate barriers for students to allow them to reach their full potential and be the best version of themself through their creative lenses.
The David Drehmer Impact Scholarship Fund will provide struggling students with low socioeconomic backgrounds an opportunity to continue receiving higher education and be able to go on to achieve a graduate degree. Graduate education can prove to be very beneficial to bright students, especially in today's world where competition is growing. Additionally, a scholarship can be very impactful to a student's academic, professional, and personal journey who never believed they would have the opportunity to achieve a graduate education. Lifelong learning is strived for, but many times financial constraints do not allow many individuals to pursue a degree higher than undergrad.
