Dr. David Drehmer was an engaging professor in DePaul University's Department of Management & Entrepreneurship for 40 years. He coached his students to remove barriers through creativity and self-awareness, allowing them to realize their passions, purpose, and meaning. He believed success was not about fulfilling expectations, but rather a possibility to live into. 

The David E. Drehmer Impact Scholarship was created to provide recognition and financial assistance to graduate students within the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business who are in good academic standing and exhibit financial need. Preference is given to students who positively impact others through leadership, mentoring, and community service.

The Impact Scholarship at DePaul University is a merit-based award that provides financial assistance to undergraduate students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and leadership skills. The scholarship covers tuition, fees, and room and board for four years, allowing recipients to focus on their studies and pursue their goals without the burden of financial stress. The Impact Scholarship program also provides recipients with mentorship, leadership development, and community engagement opportunities, helping them become agents of change in their communities.
