The 5th Annual Softball Hit-A-Thon

Now in its fifth year, the Hit-A-Thon provides a fun and exciting way for our alumnae and friends to support DePaul's softball program. Whether you choose to make an outright gift or pledge your support for your favorite player, your contribution will make an impact for our student-athletes. Gifts and pledges will be directed to the Fund for Women's Softball and will be used for travel expenses nationally, as well as key programmatic gear and equipment upgrades/replacements for each of our Blue Demon Student-athletes. 

The Hit-A-Thon will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023.

How does it work?

You have two options:

• Click the "Give Now" button above and make a gift of any amount today, or
• Click this link, where you can complete a form to pledge support for your favorite player.
  • We are looking for pledges on a per foot basis of how far your athlete can hit a softball.
  • Each athlete will have 10 swings during the event, in which we will record the distance the ball traveled for each swing,
  • Once recorded we will take their best distance to determine the amount of your pledge.
  • Example: If your player hits a ball 185 feet and you had pledged .25 cents per foot, your donation would be $46.25.
