The David Drehmer Impact Scholarship removes financial barriers for lowincome students who have made a positive difference in other people’s lives. Talent is much more evenly distributed than opportunity and this scholarship will enable more outstanding individuals realize their leadership potential and make a difference in the world. I’ve found fundraising for the Impact Scholarship a really gratifying experience. In fact, I was most touched by hearing about a story about Maria Lopez, who was one of Dr. Drehmer’s students. Her life has been changed dramatically by Dr. Drehmer enabling her to realize her passion for helping others and believing success is a possibility to live into.
