The DePaul Men's Club Hockey team has completed yet another successful regular season. After finishing first in the league standings, we went on to compete in our league playoff final, where we took a tough loss in the league championship. However, that qualified us to play in the ACHA Division Two regional tournament for the first time EVER in back-to-back seasons, and for the fourth time in program history.
This year, the tournament was held in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Like every year, expenses such as rink rental fees, locker room rent, coaches fees, bus fees, and hotel costs increase and we need your help. Internal budget cuts for our university this year affected us a lot. This means less funding to club sports teams such as ours, leaving less for us to spend on travel costs. Ice Hockey is unique, in that the costs to overcome barriers of entry are much higher than other sports. This being said, your support is integral to our cause and success.
Our players and families commit countless hours to our program, and we only ask for a little bit of your time and generosity.
Thank You!
