Speech and Debate Nationals

The DePaul Speech and Debate team, led by students in its inaugural year, aims to empower students through speech and debate. Our mission is cultivating public speaking and critical thinking skills and fostering intellectual discourse in a respectful environment. Four students qualified for the National Forensics Association Nationals at Central Michigan University.

As a student-run organization, we encounter financial constraints that hinder our ability to compete at nationals. Our club's founding principle is to make forensics accessible, ensuring that none of our students bear financial burdens. We seek funds for transportation, lodging, registration, and entry fees.

Your support sustains our journey and upholds our commitment to inclusivity and excellence. Our students have tirelessly dedicated themselves to persuasion, critical thinking, and communication. Your generosity can help us overcome these challenges, empowering aspiring debaters and orators to excel on the national stage.
