We will be hosting a multi-day Career Placement Assistance program designed to equip students with the essential skills and resources needed to secure entry-level positions and internships in IS/IT. The program will focus on career-building skills, soft skills, personal branding, interview techniques, and resume writing through a blend of workshops, seminars, networking opportunities, and practical sessions led by industry experts and seasoned professionals.
Who are we?
The DePaul ISACA Student Organization is dedicated to providing guidance and opportunities to students who are preparing for a career in all industries reliant upon and supported by information systems. The organization focuses on empowering students to develop professional networks with industry professionals, enhancing leadership skills, identifying career paths, and creating opportunities while supporting other like-minded students.
The DePaul ISACA Student Organization is recognized by ISACA Global and supported by the local ISACA Chicago chapter.
What will my donation be used for?
We will be hosting a multi-day Career Placement Assistance program designed to equip students with the essential skills and resources needed to secure entry-level positions and internships in the information systems and technology field. The program will focus on career-building skills, soft skills, personal branding, interview techniques, and resume writing. With a blend of workshops, seminars, networking opportunities, and practical sessions, participants will gain invaluable insights and tools to propel their career journeys forward. Topics will be explored in sessions led by industry experts and seasoned professionals.
We will also establish strategic partnerships with leading companies to facilitate recruitment opportunities for attendees. Through networking sessions and career fairs, participants will have the chance to connect directly with potential employers. These entry-level positions and internships will provide valuable real-world experience and a pathway to future career success.
