Eliminating obstacles that prevent people from realizing their passions and life goals was a core belief of Dr. David E. Drehmer, a late DePaul University management and entrepreneurship professor. He guided pupils in developing their creative problem-solving skills and self-awareness. In recognition of his mission, the David E. Drehmer Impact Scholarship was established.

Low-income students have the chance to further their education and enhance their knowledge and skills to effect significant change for both themselves and others through the Impact Scholarship. It is even more important to support and empower dedicated, gifted people in our world of complex, multifaceted challenges so they can propel progress in the direction of a just, sustainable, and bright future.
