Vincent on Leadership: The Hay Project is transforming leadership in non-profit and faith-based organizations worldwide. Since 2010, this online initiative has provided free, high-quality leadership training to more than 2,800 participants over 85 countries, equipping Catholic sisters, priests, and laity with the skills they need to lead with integrity, compassion, and impact.
Many of these leaders serve in communities where financial resources are scarce—Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, the Philippines, Uganda, Viet Nam, and beyond. Professional development is often out of reach for them, as most non-profit and faith-based organizations simply do not have budgets for leadership training. Yet, these leaders are on the front lines, working tirelessly to uplift communities, support ministries, and drive social change.
The Hay Project’s Values-Centered Leadership courses are a lifeline. Offered each academic quarter for 10 weeks, these courses empower leaders with essential skills, ensuring that they can serve more effectively, inspire change, and build stronger organizations. More than 770 Catholic sisters and 175 Catholic priests have already earned certificates, applying their training to real-world challenges in their congregations and ministries.
This year we launched a webinar series to bring past participants together to meet one another via Zoom. Our first webinar on self-care for leader was a great success with more than 320 registered from 35 countries.
Unlike other leadership programs that cost thousands of dollars, the Hay Project is sustained by donations, grants, and project funds, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to participation, This campaign aims to raise $20,000 to fund stipends for the facilitators who make these courses possible.

Helps support the annual license fee for our online course platform
Support toward the administrators on our multiple course workspaces each term who interact with participants to assure they meet the requirements for a certificate
Goes toward a week's worth of course facilitation on one of our multiple online course workspaces. Facilitators are a weekly online presence on the course, reading the required cohort posts by participants and leaving brief comments to those posts and answering questions as appropriate.
Helps to support one course facilitator per academic term. These online interactions among course participants and with our facilitators are a key factor in the success rate of the courses.
