Our Crowdfunding Groups
Cities Mentor Project provides Chicago Public School students with a) training in coping with severe and chronic stressors that impede learning (e.g., community violence); b) connection to mentors who support youth coping in real-life situations and connect youth to c) high-quality after-school and summer programming for additional support. Cities Mentor Project makes a long-term commitment to youth, supporting them from the 4th grade all the way through their first year in college.

This fundraiser is connected to our annual 5k/8k Superhero Run! This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and a great bonding opportunity for our mentors and mentees and for everyone in Chicago who can join us.

The research that laid the foundation for this program began in 1996.
We are a proud non-profit, or 501(c)3, that exists solely to benefit our community.
This amount covers the yearly cost to support a student in the program.
