Cities Mentor Project provides Chicago Public School students with a) training in coping with severe and chronic stressors that impede learning (e.g., community violence); b) connection to mentors who support youth coping in real-life situations and connect youth to c) high-quality after-school and summer programming for additional support. Cities Mentor Project makes a long-term commitment to youth, supporting them from the 4th grade all the way through their first year in college.

This fundraiser is connected to our annual 5k/8k Superhero Run! This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and a great bonding opportunity for our mentors and mentees and for everyone in Chicago who can join us.
