For some DePaul students, financial barriers that are always difficult and sometimes impossible to overcome can interrupt the dogged pursuit of their dreams, often with just a few classes left to take. When DePaul students need one last boost to complete their degrees, The Finish Line Fund is there to help.

In 2020-21, approximately 11% of DePaul's juniors and seniors appealed the need determination calculated by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) based on special circumstances.
Historically, around 33% of DePaul seniors have appealed their FAFSA need determinations based on special circumstances.
Approximately 75% of DePaul juniors and seniors filed the FAFSA for the 2020-21 academic year.
For the 2020-21 academic year, 130 requests for special circumstances funding were met with available resources. This represented 1% of the students with financial need.
The amount needed to get a student to the finish line is not always as high as you might think. For some students, graduation was imperiled by a few hundred dollars. You can help a student reach the finish line with a gift of this amount!
